Adam Taylor is a millwright with more than 20 years of experience in the field. With a passion for precision and craftsmanship, Adam has honed his skills as a certified welder, crane operator, and journeyman millwright. His expertise extends to heavy equipment operation and proficiency in blast furnace and Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) technologies. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety, Adam oversees the ongoing conservation and restoration projects at the Carrie Blast Furnaces National Historic Landmark, along with facility operations at Rivers of Steel’s other locations, including the Bost Building National Historic Landmark, the W. A. Young & Sons Foundry and Machine shop National Historic Landmark, the historic Pump House at the Waterfront, and the Explorer riverboat.
