Rivers of Steel and the Steel Valley Enterprise Zone are excited to announce the return of the Homestead Live Fridays performance series beginning May 20, 2022!

Located in multiple venues throughout Homestead’s Eighth Avenue business district—and at street-side pop-ups along the way, Live Fridays features local performers, art exhibitions, and activities each evening from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Grab a drink or bite to eat and check out some of the region’s best local live music!

Events are roughly from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Check each venue’s schedule for exact details. All venues are free and open to the public, except the Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall, which requires tickets to be purchased in advance.

Lots to look forward to this Friday, including the Flow from the Furnace Opening Reception at the Bost Building!
There’s music—tons of music!

The one and only Rick Sebak will be at Golden Age Beer Co. laying down the wax featuring records that have a connection to Pittsburgh, with Drew Cranisky (of Drew’s Clues Trivia), starting things off.

Mean Blue Planets are at Voodoo Brewing Co. – Homestead Pub.

Splashin Walt, Only1Deuce, & Jordan Montgomery are keeping the flow at KSD & The Radio Room.

Louie Castle will be at Local Motion (207 E. Eighth Ave.) and see Karl Bailey at Blue Dust.

Jazz artist Chuck Anderson will be with Lou Harris, Alphonso McDuffie, and Glyn Loyd at EON Bar & Grill.

Stop by for The Four Jukes at The Forge Urban Winery

Be sure to stop by 309 E. Eighth Avenue, Center of Life‘s KRUNK crew will be breakdancing to the beats of DJ Icy Pisces as graffiti writing demo their craft nearby. If that’s not enough to get you there? How about some Millie’s ice cream?
Eberle Studios will be screening some short films, plus The Blood of a Poet (1930) by Jean Cocteau.

Visitors may park in the parking lot at the rear of the Bost Building, located at 623 East Eighth Avenue. The entrance is accessed from Heisel Street.
