lts all about the industrial arts at the Festival lts all about the industrial arts at the Festival of Combustion, returning Saturday, October 4, from 3 to 9pm at the Carrie Blast Furnaces! New this year, don’t miss live Hot Riveting demonstrations with @riversofsteel along with welding, blacksmithing, iron casting, and more—showcasing local and visiting artists: @artifactmetalworks, @glen.s.g, @d.spewak, @camut_welding, @protohaven, @touchstonecenterforcrafts, @centerformetalarts, and Rivers of Steel Arts! Presented by @ussteelcorp, this spectacular event brings together the region's most talented artists, makers, and tradespeople for live demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and an all-day iron pour that ignites the very spirit of our industrial heritage. The evening closes with fireworks lighting up the towering furnaces against the night sky. Advance tickets $25 or $30 at the gate, kids under 18 free. Get tickets at the link in our bio.
