Experience the Festival

The Festival of Combustion features hands-on activities for adults and children alike with demonstrations and experiences throughout the entire day and evening.

Expect a full day of exciting demonstrations and hands-on experiences! This year's roster of activities includes three brand-new, interactive crafts!

Take a mini tour of the Carrie Blast Furnaces between workshops. Visit the marketplace to score some unique local products created by the region’s most exciting makers. With food trucks, craft beer, and live music all day and night, there's plenty to explore!

Location & Directions

The Carrie Blast Furnaces are located in Swissvale and Rankin, PA in the Monongahela River Valley.  The address of the site is 801 Carrie Furnace Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15218.
