Paige Henry is a metal sculptor and welder with more than fifteen years of experience in fine art foundry—specifically contemporary cast iron art. Paige first came to the Carrie Blast Furnaces to assist an iron pour during the Festival of Combustion in 2015. After showing sculpture at Carrie Furnaces during an International Sculpture Conference and iron pour in 2016, Paige traveled back to Pittsburgh to help execute many iron pours until being contracted to weld on site in 2019.
She is currently the Assistant Maintenance Manager and Assistant Metal Arts Coordinator for the Rivers of Steel Heritage Corporation. Paige strives to stabilize this unique National Historic Landmark while keeping the grounds nice, helping to create the best guest experience possible. Her true passion lies within contemporary cast iron art and assisting artists and individuals in executing their projects and sculptures in a safe and inspiring way.
