Ed Parrish, Jr. is the Furnace Master and Coordinator for the Metal Arts Program at Rivers of Steel where he leads all foundry activities and workshops. Parrish relocated to Pittsburgh after attending East Carolina University, where he received a BFA with a concentration in sculpture. Parrish has more than twenty-five years experience in metal arts and has exhibited work at the Mattress Factory, the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, The Carnegie Museum of Art, and Space Gallery. He is currently represented by Zynka Gallery in Pittsburgh. He is dedicated to sharing knowledge of and increasing access to metal work.
