For this year’s open house event, Rivers of Steel is excited to partner with the Borough of Rankin, Pennsylvania for a day of fun!
Stop by for self-guided tours of the landmark furnaces. Explore at your own pace and visit the new Mini Greens 2 art installation in the Iron Garden. Experience all of our arts programs, from graffiti and folk arts to blacksmithing and the excitement of a live hot metal pour. Browse the local vendor market to pick up a variety of goods or learn about community services.
This free event is a great way to experience all that this National Historic Landmark has to offer! Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Free shuttle services for Rankin residents will be provided during the event hours with pick up at the Rankin Christian Center. General parking is available on site.
This one-day open House is on Saturday, August 19 from 1:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m.
