Talking Trails: A Book Talk and Community Conversation
Event Navigation
Join us for our upcoming book event with Amy Camp, author of Deciding on Trails: 7 Practices of Healthy Trail Towns. Sharing insights from her book and stories of places that have embraced trails and tourism, Amy will reveal her motivation for writing “the book for Trail Towns,” and discuss how her background in trails and community development began as a personal journey that has blossomed into an international community.
A panel of trail and community advocates from along the Great Allegheny Passage will share their insights as well. Panelists include:
- Bryan Perry, Executive Director of the Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy
- Sharon Joseph, Liaison, Downtown Connellsville
- Suzi Bloom, Director of Education for Rivers of Steel
Copies of Deciding on Trails are available from IndieBound, Amazon, or through Amy’s website.
